Climate Science for the Classroom
Visit the ebook published by UW Libraries
A compilation of climate-science focused labs, games, and science communication modules for middle and high school teachers and their students. These materials are the result of a collaboration between PCC scientists (often current graduate students) and local educators.
Additional labs and educational materials are available on our website here.
Scientist – Teacher Workshops
Every year, the PCC hosts new scientist-teacher workshops to promote interaction between science teachers and UW scientists with the goal of bringing our current understanding of climate into the classroom.
Classroom visits
Request a speaker for your classroom (virtual)
PCC scientists, largely current graduate students, often visit high school classrooms to talk about global climate, local impacts, fundamental science that informs climate, or how they became interested in becoming a scientist.
Scientist Interviews

While you are waiting for a scientist to visit the classroom, share one of our videos of scientists talking about what they do.
