Autumn 2021 Current Climate Change Research Seminar: IPCC AR6 WG1 Chapter Summaries
In Autumn 2021 Becky Alexander (ATM S Faculty and PCC Director), organized and led this discussion–based seminar that focused on the content of the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report (AR6) Working Group 1. The class met in person, with an option to attend by Zoom, Tuesdays from 3:30-4:50.
IPCC AR6, WG1 (The Physical Science Basis) was released in August 2021. This seminar focused on a different chapter each week during Autumn 2021, covering 9–10 out of the 12 chapters. Students became experts on a single chapter. Student groups presented and produced a summary of the chapter geared towards a general (non–expert) audience. Communication pieces took different forms and are available below.
