The Graduate Climate Conference (GCC) brings together graduate student researchers from around the United States and the globe to connect and share their research with fellow students. This year, attendees have the opportunity to share their research with a broader audience at a public session and share their work on topics ranging from atmospheric dynamics to paleoclimate to climate adaptation in a warming world.

Members from UW and greater Seattle communities are invited to the event, where there will be a mixture of posters and lightning talks aimed at the general public! The event will be hosted on the University of Washington Seattle campus in the Fishery Sciences Building (FSH), Room 102 from 12 PM – 2:30 PM on Friday, November 6th. The event will take place in the FSH lobby, which is easily accessible and navigable. Light refreshments will be provided.

There is meant to be a diverse group of academics, folks from government and policy, grassroots organizers, community members, and everyone in between to join and engage with our conference attendees at the GCC Public Session!
