Undergraduate Cohort Past Events

Spring 2025

Winter 2025

  • UW Greenhouse Tour: The undergrads joined for a private group tour of the greenhouse. We learned about the greenhouse operations and the unique plants it homes. The greenhouse has a large collection of plants spread across 4 biome rooms and outdoor space. This was a really fun experience and we are excited to return during the flowering season.
  • PCC Winter Welcome Meet-Up: The UCo undergrads attended the PCC Winter Welcome together. The Winter Welcome is annual event that brings together the UW Climate Community for new member introductions, postdoc speed-talks, PCC program updates, and a space to socialize. The event is usually gauged towards grad student, researchers, postdocs, and faculty with a growing undergraduate presence, hence our goal to connect with other undergrads.
  • Environmental Opportunities for UndergradsThis professional development event focused on finding opportunities to build skills and experience beyond your degree, including summer internships, research, academic programs, and student groups. Campus presenters provided insight and resources for climate, environmental, and STEM fields. After presentations, the event transferred into a breakout session to give attendees the opportunity to talk one-on-one with the presenters and meet representatives from 12 different environmental RSOs.
