I am a student in Dr. Kristin Laidre’s lab in the School of Aquatic and Fishery Sciences with past support from the Program on Climate Change and an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program. Broadly, I am interested in understanding how environmental changes impact the health of wildlife populations. My thesis focuses on measuring biomarkers for stress and physiological dysregulation in a population of polar bears in the Southern Beaufort Sea.
