I study multiscale landscape change using hyper‑resolution remote sensing and methods that fuse spatial, temporal, and spectral data; I lead the Remote Sensing & Geospatial Analysis Laboratory (RSGAL). I apply these tools to quantify and attribute climate impacts—vegetation stress, phenology shifts, carbon changes, and disturbance responses—to support long‑term monitoring and adaptation. As Director of the Program on the Environment strive to assure our undergraduate Environmental Studies majors can understand and translate climate sciences into actionable information for resilience and policy.
