I am a postdoctoral researcher at CICOES working with Zach Erickson, Emily Lemagie, Al Hermann, and Wei Cheng in the EcoFOCI and GOBOP groups at NOAA PMEL. My research focuses on the life cycle and biogeochemical impacts of eddies in the Gulf of Alaska. Previously, I studied the variability and predictability of marine heatwaves, ocean heat transport, and Arctic sea ice.

As a Ph.D. student in the UW School of Oceanography I served on the PCC Graduate Steering Committee, where I led ACORN and organized the PCC undergraduate research cohort. I also served as co-chair of the 15th Annual Graduate Climate Conference.
