I am a PhD student studying transportation in the Intelligent Urban Transportation Lab at UW. Emissions from transportation is one of the leading factors contributing to climate change both directly as well as second order effects like land use patterns downstream of transportation. In my research I hope to improve the efficiency and accessibility of mass transit options like busses that are shown to improve both direct and second order carbon emissions from transportation.
