I am interested in the large-scale physics and biogeochemistry of the ocean and how the ocean interacts with Earth’s climate and ecosystems. My research focuses on observing the global ocean using autonomous instruments and analyzing those observations, together with data from satellite remote sensing and numerical simulations, using state-of-the-art methods from statistics and data science.
