This class provides an overview of paleoclimatology, and how it helps us to understand how the climate system works (not only “what happened and when”). This year, it will be taught primarily as a specialized seminar — digging into a few key methods and discoveries and emphasizing the last few decades of innovation in the field. Those who enjoyed the PCC Summer Institute this year are especially encouraged to participate (though everyone is welcome, of course).
