Course Description

Covers climate change impacts, and the differentiated and uneven risks that exist within societies. Surveys adaptation concepts and practices across diverse inland, urban, coastal, and agricultural contexts. Within the context of climate vulnerability, explores the possibilities, limitations, and critiques of climate adaptation. Introduces concepts and movements behind social-ecological transformations shaping just and sustainable futures.
