Ways to help.
The Climate Science Research Acceleration Fund** supports research that accelerates or builds capacity for climate science at the UW. Funds may benefit any student, post-doc, or faculty member engaged in climate science research through the Program on Climate Change.
Also called the Program on Climate Change Graduate Education Fund, the Climate Solutions Fund** supports graduate students engaged in the Program on Climate Change interested in applying their skills and knowledge to climate solutions-based projects and the communication of climate science. These projects provide opportunities for students to work with individuals and organizations in the community, giving students valuable experience outside academia.
The Program on Climate Change Discretionary Fund** provides essential support for many of our activities, including our annual summer institute, community building events, and training programs like the Pacific Northwest Climate Ambassadors. Donations to this fund are unrestricted and allocated by the leadership of the Program on Climate Change to meet emerging needs and new opportunities.
The Graubard Graduate Fellowships in the Program on Climate Change Fund* provides 1-3 quarters of salary and tuition support for graduate students across the College of the Environment and beyond who are engaged in climate science research and studies through the Program on Climate Change.
**Funds created or enhanced by annual gifts from Bill Calvin and Katherine Graubard.
