Course Description

Explores the reciprocal links between society and nature through the lens of Social-Ecological Systems (SES) theory. Students engage in cross-disciplinary frameworks and case studies to understand and apply SES methods to real-world challenges like resilience, governance, and justice. Emphasizes critical thinking and collaborative knowledge creation, culminating in a written project related to students’ research.
