Course Description

Introduces the theory and application of climate, energy use, and comfort as determinants of architectural form. Emphasizes architectural methods for climate adaptation using non-mechanical means of ventilating, cooling, heating, and lighting, to create buildings that are less reliant on purchased energy and fossil fuels.
