BA Environmental Studies, University of Washington-Bothell BA Society, Ethics and Human Behavior, University of Washington-Bothell I have always loved the water and have always been fascinated by humans. Being able to align the two passions with a degree in Environmental Studies and Society, Ethics and Human Behavior has been the perfect combination. While an undergrad at UWB, I was fortunate to have worked on a study looking at the effects on intrapersonal relationships as a white identified anti-racist. This study is now published in the Journal of Community Psychology. Growing up in a fishing town and marrying a fisherman, I am an absolute lover of marine life and has a passion for wanting to protect it which is what brought me to the School of Marine and Environmental Affairs at UW. I completed my thesis work looking at the impacts of passenger only ferries on the southern resident killer whales. I was a GSR and P-GrasC member, on the Admission Committee for SMEA, and received two fellowships during my time at UW. Looking forward to continuing the work ahead!
