I am a geomorphologist interested in extreme geomorphic events–specifically, the role that high-magnitude, low-frequency outburst floods play in shaping landscapes. My current research leverages field observations and modeling techniques to better constrain the erosional and depositional legacy of megafloods (floods with discharge >10^6 cubic meters per second) in the rapidly uplifting eastern Himalaya.
